Items General
Paging Grid with controls at top
The paging controls for the grid are on the top right. To move to the next page or change the number of items displayed in the grid are located here. Because the grid loading time is to fast we have increased the number of rows displayed before row paging. The total number of items are displayed on the right.
Grid Search
The Search button is used to load the grid after first opening the screen.
Entering a search term and clicking Search filters the entire grid. It searches all rows and columns and filters the grid by the search term.
To show inactive items, click the inactive checkbox and then the search button.

Page Menu bar
A menu bar is available at the top of the screen allowing access to all of the functionality and more than the previous screen. We added icons to make it easier to find what you want to do quickly and the menu bar adjusts to the screen size.
Commonly used action buttons are in blue to make them easy to identify

Export
Users now have an Excel export button on the right side of the menu bar. Whatever is contained in the grid when the Export button is clicked is downloaded to the users computer as an Excel file.

Column Sorting
Clicking any column header sorts the column first ascending, then descending and then shuts off the sorting. The sort direction is visible by the blue arrow.
Column Filters
Every column in the grid now has powerful filtering available, accessed by clicking the filter icon. This filtering should look familiar if users have filtered a column in Excel.
The first drop down contains the type of filter to apply and the first text box is the value to be evaluated. These column filters can be applied to multiple columns in a grid at the same time providing powerful results.
For example: A grid is filtered to show all rows from a specific call form, in a particular city, or all rows for a particular field rep for a call form. All this is done without exporting the data to Excel first to manipulate.

Adding Items
The basic details of an item are first added by clicking the Add button and filling in the form.

Once an item is created, other item details are available from the items context menu in the items grid. (see editing items).
When creating a new item make certain to check Authorized for all if it is appropriate.

Editing Items
Editing an item is done using a ... or context menu on each item row. Clicking the menu reveals the menu of configuration options previously available on the items add/edit screen.

Clicking the Edit menu opens the Item details form

Clicking the Image menu allows an image to be added to the items
Question Association
The question association functionality is largely unchanged.
The two changes are:
- The screen is now a pop over which can be moved and maximized using the top right controls.
- The header and footer are frozen. This allows the list to be scrolled and still have access to search or apply start and end dates.

Chain and Store Authorizations
Both authorization screens are now updated to the new standard first used on the Materials Management screen.
Authorized for All Locations
Authorizing an item for all chains is done in the item edit form. Clicking the check box authorizes that item for all chains and stores.
Note: If the checkbox is checked the Chain and Store Authorization menu items are not displayed for the item.

Chain Authorizations
The Chain Authorization screen displays a list of all active chains.
- To authorize a chain for an item click the left checkbox
- To find a specific chain use the search bar at the top and click the search icon
- To toggle between authorized and not authorized chains click the Show Authorized button at the top

Store Authorizations
The Store Authorization screen is empty when first opened because of the large number of stores to choose.
- To begin first choose a chain(s)
- To find a specific chain use the search bar at the top and click the search icon
- To toggle between authorized and not authorized chains click the Show Authorized button at the top
Uploads
The uploads are consolidated under one drop down in the toolbar called Upload.

The upload options remain the same: Items, Authorizations and Deauthorizations.

Choosing an upload opens a pop over screen to perform the upload. The process is the same for all uploads.
- Read Instructions
- Download Template, enter details, and save
- Select updated template file and upload
- Enter any remaining fields (ex. Start Date)
