Insight:Center is an online portal that is organized into Teams. A team is an organizational unit used to group information for Clients and Corporate departments at BDSmktg in i:c. Teams are also used to provide a security barrier between departments and Teams so only authorized people have access to sensitive or proprietary client information.
Team examples:
MotoAgent Team – created for the Motorola client to run their MDM field program
Information Technology Team – created for the corporate IT department
What is included in a Team?
A BDSmktg employee needs to be added to a Team by a person who has an Account Team role on that Team to gain access to the information collected by the Team. The Team is comprised of the following available modules:
- Management Tools – used to setup a client facing Team for data collection
- People – manage the people on a Team
- Documents – upload, store and download documents
- Store Tools – update stores in the Universal Store List (USL)
- Payroll Hours Entry/Review/Post (Field & Corporate)
- Reporting – data reporting provided by IT for corporate and client data, self-serve
- Requests – system for sending needs using an online form for use on client and dept.
- Security (IT only) – used to setup new Teams, manage menu, create permissions
Accessing Teams
To select a Team, a user clicks on the Team drop-down on the right side of the menu to open the drop-down, and then selects the Team name to view the Team.
