Warehouse Shipping Request Manager
The Warehouse Shipping Request Manager is used by the Warehouse to review and approve shipments. All shipments, in any status are visible in the shipping request manager.
The goal of the shipping request manager is to move shipments from requested to shipped in an orderly process.

Shipping Queue
The shipping queue is a list of all of the shipping requests in any status. Each row in the shipping queue is a shipping request submitted by an ic team member.

Shipping Queue Columns

ID - shipping request ID used to track the request
-
Name - name created by person submitting the shipping request

# of Recipients - number of people being shipped product in shipment

Job Code - BDSMktg finance code used to tag costs to billing

Request Type - two types available: Simple, Complex

Ship Service Type - What shipping service for shipment (Fedex Ground)

Status - shipping status (see below for details)

Requested Date - date request is submitted

Requestor- name of person submitting shipping request

Approved Date - date shipment was approved by Account Team
Shipping Statuses
There is six statuses available for a shipping request. The statuses each have a purpose in the workflow of a shipping request. The statuses are visible by the requester.

Shipment Requested - shipping requests all start at this status after first being entered and saved. This shipment will not move on until approved

Shipment Approved - these are shipments approved by the requestor or a team member. Shipments in this status are considered ready for the warehouse to review.

Processing - the warehouse is reviewing the shipment and gearing up for the shipment. Shipments in this status cannot be edited by the person requesting.

Shipped - the warehouse is ready to remove the products stock from warehouse inventory and begin picking and packing in the Sphere WMS.

Cancelled - The warehouse is ending the processing of the shipment after notification by the requestor.

Hold Queue -The warehouse is placing the shipment on hold because something is missing to begin processing. Requestor cannot edit the shipment in this status.

Filter/Search
The filter and search bar is used to filter by shipment status and search for keywords in the shipping queue list of shipment requests.

Upon opening the shipping queue the list of shipments is not loaded. To load the shipments enter a search phrase and/or select a shipping status and click the search button.

Actions
The actions toolbar enables the warehouse managers to update the status of any shipments in the shipping queue. This is used to move shipments to new statuses as they are processed, shipped etc.
To update the status of a shipment click the Show/Hide Actions button

Next click the check-box next to the shipping request ID(s) to update

Next choose a status and click the Update button to update the status on the selected requests.
Ship button
The ship button is used to move requested shipments from the shipping queue into the warehouse inventory/shipping system (Sphere).
The process to ship is
- In the shipping queue click the check box next to the shipments to ship
- Click the ship button
The shipments are pushed to the warehouse inventory/shipping system (Sphere).
In this process the shipments are available in Sphere and the product inventory needed for the shipments are allocated in the warehouse inventory.
Preview button
The preview button allows a Warehouse manager to view the details of a shipment before it pushed to the warehouse inventory shipping system.
The process to preview is
- In the shipping queue click the check box next to the shipments to ship
- Click the Preview button
