Parts Program Management
Parts Program Management
The parts program management module is used to Add/Edit parts programs. A program is setup for each break fix client which wants parts ordering and placement as part of their work with BDS.
It is available at:

The parts program management screen uses the General Management page layout.

Searching/Viewing Programs
The program list does not load by default when the module is opened; searching is required to view the list of programs.
Search/Filters
Clicking the Search button loads the list of programs. A textual search box enables users to search for the program wanted in the list.

Clicking the checkbox displays inactive programs.

Adding Wave Assignments from USL
To begin adding programs click the Add Program button.

The Add Program window is opened. Enter the data in the form.

Program Name - name of the Parts Program

Client - BDS Client name

Contact Email - Contact for the parts program at BDS

Chains for Support Center Search - List of chains support center is supporting for the parts program

Ad Hoc Appointment Duration - Duration in minutes for automatically created Ad Hoc appointments.

Create Ad Hoc Vendor Visit Appointment - Checkbox to set the program to create Ad Hoc unscheduled appointments for vendor visits.

Active - Checkbox to set the program active or inactive.

Click the Save button to create the new program.

Editing a Program
Clicking the context menu for a Program in the Program list opens the option for Editing. Clicking the Edit option opens the Program Edit screen.

The program edit screen allows users to edit all program fields.

Inactivating a Program
Clicking the context menu for a program reveals the Inactivate option. Inactivating a program makes it no longer accessible to choose for parts orders.

Clicking the Inactivate option opens a "Are you sure" reminder before it is inactivated as a precaution.
