Rain File Creation Timing
The RAIN file is transmitted daily at 12:45 AM PST to GAMS (via SFTP) and includes data for the current pay period from OpenSky.
For example, the file sent on November 4, 2025 will contain employee information for the period November 2–November 8, 2025.
Rules for RAIN File Creation
- Only U.S.-based employees are included.
- Only hourly employees are considered.
- The file includes employees completed work hours, travel hours, and hours spent completing required training or courses.
